To build trust between two entities in VANET is particularly difficult due to lack of infra-structure, openness of wireless links and the usually highly dynamic network topology. To address these problems, we propose an effective trusted routing mechanism that provides node-to-node trust and routability verification, without assistance of Certificate Authorities (CA). By applying this framework to the Optimized Link State Routing Protocol(OLSR), we demonstrate how this mechanism can be used to establish trusted routes.
