Pascal Van Hentenryck Optimisation Research Group Leader |

Pascal Van Hentenryck leads the optimisation research group at NICTA (about 50 people) which focuses on disaster management, future energy systems, and supply-chains, and carries out research in continuous and discrete optimisation, decision making under uncertainty, simulation and visualisation, and computational social choice. Philip Kilby is a research leader at NICTA's Canberra Lab and an Adjunct Fellow at the Australian National University. Philip leads the Logistics and Supply Chain project at NICTA. He has a background in operations research, but is also interested in techniques from artificial intelligence, including constraint satisfaction methods. Prior to NICTA, Philip was a research leader at CSIRO's Mathematical and Information Sciences. Abdul Sattar is a research leader at NICTA's Queensland Lab and a professor at Griffith University. Abdul is also founding Director of the Institute for Integrated and Intelligent Systems at Griffith University established in 2003. Abdul leads the Advanced Computational Proteomics project at NICTA. Peter Stuckey is a research leader at NICTA's Victorian Lab and a professor at the University of Melbourne. Peter leads the G12 Constraint Programming Platform project.
