Post-Doctoral Positions in Multi-Modal Supply Chains at NICTA

National ICT Australia (NICTA) is Australia's ICT Research Centre of Excellence.  NICTA brings together world-class researchers, engineers and professional staff to undertake excellent research and creates beneficial impact through use of its technologies and by increasing Australia's ICT capacity and capabilities.

We seek outstanding researchers who have recently received their PhD to be part of a large, world-class research optimisation group and closely work with our Infrastructure, Transport, and Logistics team. The positions are focused on the modeling, simulation, and optimisation of large-scale, multi-modal logistic and supply-chain systems.

Candidates should have a PhD in computer science, operations research, or related areas, excellent modeling and programming skills, and good communication skills. Candidates with a strong background in constraint and mathematical programming are especially welcome to apply. Ideal candidates will strive in a dynamic environment combining conceptual and applied research, system building, and collaborative work.
