SAIL Team

Most of the SAIL team are based at NICTA's Kensington Research facility in Sydney, the Neville Roach Laboratory, whilst the project leader, Peter Baumgartner, is based at NICTA's Canberra Research Laboratory. Some of the SAIL team members are employed by Australian universities UNSW, ANU and Macquarie, and contribute their time to NICTA by arrangement with their university. Visiting researchers from international institutions also contribute from time to time.
Across the SAIL team there is an extremely high level of expertise in Formal Logics, Automated Reasoners, Temporal and Spatial Reasoning, Semantic Web Technologies and Controlled Natural Languages.
