Process Architecture, Modelling and Technologies for Business and Government
The ArMaTure project will develop new modeling languages, tools, and methods that reduce expertise, effort, time and risk required to create, maintain, and (inter-)operate business process systems.
Computer-supported business processes are key to organisations within and across government and finance industries. Our research is inspired by the use of business process technologies within our partners in Australian federal and state government agencies, and also in the Australian lending and conveyancing industries. The fundamental research and technology outcomes are expected to be transferable to use in many other industries, including health, e-science, and commerce.
The ArMaTure is internally approved, will shortly formally commence.
The project follows and incorporates research directions, technologies, and relationships from previous projects at NICTA: LIXI, AMP, and e-Government.
The project team is based at Sydney ATP Lab, and in the Canberra Lab. We also have a number of PhD students working directly on project-related outcomes.
