Researcher

I am a researcher in Network Systems group in NICTA where currently I am part of STaRComm (Smart Transport and Roads - Communications) project team. Before joining NICTA in 2006, I taught in NED University of Engg. and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, in 2005 and worked as a post docotoral fellow in Network Architecture Lab of George Mason University, Virginia, USA in 2004. My research interests include different network layer issues in wireless mesh networks, such as, robust routing, anomaly detection, cooperative/opportunistic routing, efficiency of link metrics, quality-of-service etc. besides mobility tracking and its applications in mobile wireless networks.
