It contained some updates and additional material on bridging design-time software engineering of service-oriented systems with their run-time management, but it also had a somewhat narrower focus.

• The BPM 2008 tutorial was based on the CEC/EEE 2006 tutorial (and thus the ICWS/SCC 2005 tutorial). It contained considerable extensions (e.g., about business driven IT management - BDIM and the Information Technology Infrastructure Library - ITIL) and some updates, but it also had a narrower focus (e.g. the material on QoS description and management was reduced significantly).
