- [1999-2004] Ph.D. (Doctoral) degree in Electrical Engineering, Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada), Department of Systems and Computer Engineering. GPA (Grade Point Average): 12 out of 12. Won prestigious scholarships and awards. Area of research: software for management of Web Services and their compositions, and formal specification of constraints and contracts for Web Services. Thesis title: “Service Offerings for XML Web Services and Their Management Applications”. Supervisor: Prof. Bernard Pagurek. Completed an optional certificate in teaching skills and attended seminars in leadership, management, and business.
- [1996-1998] M.Sc. (Masters) degree in Computer Science and Engineering, University of Nis (Serbia, Yugoslavia), Faculty of Electronic Engineering. Part-time studies. GPA: 10 out of 10. The thesis was completed in collaboration with a Hewlett-Packard software division in Germany, where I had previously worked full-time. Thesis title: “On Object-Oriented Information Specification in Network and System Management”. Supervisors: Prof. Slobodanka Djordjevic-Kajan (University of Nis) and Holger Dietrich (Hewlett-Packard).
- [1991-1995] Dipl.Ing. (5-year undergraduate) degree in Computer Science and Engineering, University of Nis (Serbia, Yugoslavia), Faculty of Electronic Engineering. The best graduating student of the University of Nis during the school year 1995/1996. GPA: 9.97 out of 10. Studies completed nine months before the graduation date. Thesis title: “Object-Oriented Implementation of Artificial Neural Networks”. Supervisor: Prof. Lazar Djordjevic.
