  • [1999-2004] Ph.D. (Doctoral) degree in Electrical Engineering, Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada), Department of Systems and Computer Engineering. Ph.D. program offered through the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Electrical and Computer Engineering (OCIECE), a joint institute between the University of Ottawa and Carleton University. GPA (Grade Point Average): 12 out of 12. Won prestigious scholarships and awards. Area of research: software for management of Web Services and their compositions, and formal specification of constraints and contracts for Web Services. Thesis title: “Service Offerings for XML Web Services and Their Management Applications”. Supervisor: Prof. Bernard Pagurek. Completed optional “Certificate in Teaching Skills for Teaching Assistants” and attended seminars in leadership, management, and business.

GPA: 10 out of 10. The thesis was completed in collaboration with a Hewlett-Packard software division in Germany, where I had previously worked full-time.
