Dr Thomas Conway is an experienced researcher with extensive experience in both the research and commercial software communities. Thomas has particular expertise in applying theoretical results and techniques to practical, real world problems. His research work has involved compiler and programming language technologies (particularly parallelism and concurrency), information retrieval, and computational bioinformatics. Thomas worked for nearly a decade in a small company providing high performance text search technology primarily to the defense and intelligence sector.

Thomas is currently part of the Diagnostic Genomics project.
