Marius Portmann

Researcher


Marius Portmann is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, and a Researcher at NICTA's Queensland Research Lab. His research interests include Pervasive Computing, Wireless Mesh Networks, P2P Computing and Network Security. He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich. He is a member of IEEE.

 

The main focus of his research currently is Wireless Mesh Networks technology for Public Safety, Emergency Response and Disaster Recovery situations.
