Principal Senior Researcher
I am a Senior Principal Researcher (or is that Principal Senior Researcher?) for National ICT Australia, and Conjoint Professor at the School for Computer and Software Engineering in the University of New South Wales. I was previously a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Loyola University Chicago and, before that, an Associate Professor in the School of Computing and Information Technology at Griffith University. And a long time ago I was employed by IBM in its Research Division.
I have a B.Sc. (Hons) and a Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne and its Computer Science department.
I am a member of NICTA's Knowledge Representation and Reasoning program, within the research theme Managing Complexity. The projects I am involved in include:
