Daniel has been with NICTA since June 2006, holding various positions including Market Analyst, Commercialisation Analyst and Executive Officer.

Daniel graduated from the National Graduate School of Management, at the Australian National University with two Master of Management degrees with specialisations in Technology, Innovation and Commercialisation, He holds a first-class honours degree in Information Technology from the University of Queensland where his thesis was supervised by staff from the Co-operative Research Centre for Distributed Systems Technology. Daniel has previous industry and startup experience having worked as a Oracle Enterprise Database Administrator on business critical systems as well as co-founding a wireless internet startup company in Brisbane catering to the niche needs of professional service firms.
