Board Director

Professor Barney Glover is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Charles Darwin University in the Northern Territory. He formerly held the positions of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), The University of Newcastle in Newcastle, NSW from 2006-2009 and Pro Vice-Chancellor, Research and Development at Curtin University of Technology in WA from 2003-2006.

He has an extensive research record in applied mathematics, particularly optimization and operations research and mathematics education.

He has held various positions on the Boards of Cooperative Research Centres and other research organisations including the WA Telecommunications Research Institute and the Institute for Multi-sensor Processing and Content Analysis.

He has a strong interest in commercialisation of intellectual property and has served as foundation Board member for a variety of start up companies and new ventures developing technology in the ITC, engineering and medical device industries.
