Current Commitments & Roles

Manfred works across a number of ViSTA projects, including but not limited to:

• Smart Cars project:  for purpose of object detection & tracking, developing a generic, C++ STL conforming Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG), and Domain Specific Language (DSL):  EBNF grammar, parser and semantic actions - for dynamic decision making at runtime.
  

• BioMedical (MRI) Automated Anatomical Structure Extraction project:  in collaboration with the Centre for Mental Health Research (CMHR) at the ANU, in aide of diagnosing degenerative brain diseases in adolesence such as Alzheimer's, and other diseases such as epilepsy and schizophrenia using statistical shape modelling of brain anatomy.
  

• Senior Software Consultant  (architecture, design, process):  across varied NICTA projects, including but not limited to:  Smart Cars, MRI, Digital Forensics et al.
