You are invited to come and see the latest exciting developments from NICTA, Australia’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Research Centre of Excellence. From clever viral distribution technology to cost-saving supply chain software, NICTA has ICT opportunities across a range of markets.
This is the second year that NICTA has participated in Asia’s premier business-to-business event and we are demonstrating an expanded range of new technologies. Visit our stand and see some truly innovative applications, including a maritime communications system developed with Singapore’s A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research (I²R). Several of these projects are now seeking commercialisation partners.

• TiniWiki™ - a new NICTA application designed for the iPhone. TiniWiki™ stores the entire Wikipedia on a phone allowing access even when offline, compressing 60GB of data to 6GB
• Middleware for Maritime Mesh with Satellite Communications - developed with Singapore’s A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research using NICTA’s “go-anywhere” router technology
• Badumna - scalable P2P technology to support online games
• Beem™ - viral distribution technology that makes the distribution of content to a social network easy and instantaneous
• ATOMIC - software that solves complex challenges in supply chain logistics.
Freight and logistics companies can now enhance the deployment of their assets and resources efficiently and cost effectively
• Goanna™ - debugging and code-testing software for detecting bugs early in the software development process
• AutoMap - automatically creating and updating urban maps for the personal navigation market
• TEMPO - the technology behind NICTA’s European Union 7th Framework engagements on next-generation Internet infrastructure.
