2010 NICTA Creative Embedded Challenge

In 2009 and 2010 NICTA ran a competition using the NICTA ed1 board.

The competition was open to high school students who had just participated in the National Computer Science School (NCSS) Embedded Challenge. The contest gave them the chance to demonstrate what they had just learnt by wiring a program of their own choice for the NICTA ed1 embedded computer platform. The submissions were judged on criteria including originality, performance and elegance.



2010 Winner

In 2010 the winner of the NICTA Creative Embedded Challenge compeition was Daniel Phillips from Normanhurst Boys High School. The judges were impressed with the programs entered into the competition and chose to award five Merit Awards.

2009 Winner

In 2009 the winner of the NICTA Creative Embedded challenge was Zoi Petroulias from Canberwell Grammar School in Melbourne.
