NICTA Locations

NICTA was established in 2002 by the Australian Government, as part of the Backing Australia’s Ability initiative, following a competitive bid process.

We are a national organisation with five laboratories in four cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane.

Projects are not contained to one laboratory, researchers working on projects can be located at any of our research laboratories across the country and work between laboratories.
